Twice as Nice offers homeschool families the unique opportunity to sell and purchase like-new homeschool supplies including curriculum materials, books, software, and much more.

Consign in The Homeschool Corner
- To sell your homeschool items during the Twice as Nice sale, register to consign. In the comments section, indicate "Homeschool." If you will only be selling homeschool merchandise, please note “Homeschool ONLY” in the comments section.
- E-mail your consignor code and contact information to the Twice as Nice Homeschool Corner coordinator, Cheri McDonald, at chermac@nc.rr.com.
- The standard Twice as Nice tagging procedures apply to homeschool items. Items without tags cannot be sold, and the consignor cannot be compensated properly. Make every effort to fasten your tags securely!
- Drop-off for homeschool consignors corresponds with the drop-off time for all consignors. Consignors are responsible for placing their items in the appropriate areas within the Homeschool Corner.
Tips for consigning homeschool materials
Curriculum
- Place curriculum sets together in large zip-top bags and provide complete details on the tag.
- List the title of each item included in the set and the number of total books in the set (e.g., “Set of 4”) on the tag.
- On the inside front (left hand) cover of each item in a set, indicate the curriculum name, the consignor number, and the item number (e.g., “1 of 4”) so sets can be more easily reunited if separated. Use a small mailing or file folder label if the inside front cover is not blank.
- Securely attach the tag with clear packing tape, but do not seal the zip-top bag with tape. Shoppers may want to examine curriculum materials carefully which requires removing them from the zip-top bags. Volunteers will work to keep sets together.
Books, board games, puzzles, and more
- Easy-release blue painter’s tape is ideal for use on items that could be damaged by packing tape, as it is less likely to tear delicate surfaces.
- Wrap wooden puzzles in plastic before taping; packing tape ruins the puzzle.
- Many puzzles fit easily in two-gallon zip-top bags, and zip-top bags prevent tape damage.
- Check books for missing and torn pages.
- Group multiple titles (e.g., several Amelia Bedelia books or several Beginning Readers of the same level) in a zip-top bag, seal the top closed with clear packing tape, attach tag to bag, and list all titles on the tag. (Please note the different instructions for curriculum materials as opposed to general books.)
- Puzzles, games, and all multi-pieced items must not be missing any parts. Assemble or count items to verify completeness, then indicate “all pieces included” on the tag, and carefully seal to prevent loss.
Videos, DVDs, & CDs
- Check to ensure that videos, DVDs, and CDs are in the correct package.
- Seal with masking tape. Do not use clear packing tape for these items.
- The best volunteers for The Homeschool Corner are parents who homeschool.
